Chairman Mao Memorial Hall

In this dignified Hall lies the body of Chairman Mao Tsetung, the Chinese peoples great leader and teacher.

One of the two Lounges east of the Central Hall, with traditional Chinese paintings.

West of the Central Hall are also two Lounges in which are hung Chinese traditional paintings.

In the center of the North Hall is a three meter high white marble statue of Chairman Mao seated in an armchair.

This sculpture has captured his typical expression in his serene smile.

The scupture groups are 6 to 8 meters high and 7 to 15 meter long.

The crystal coffin containing Chairman Mao's remains is surrounded by flowers.
